It is difficult to say, what is the range of the opponent, maybe in the button A4, street draw, pairs? There are three possible options, a bet on the river check call and check fold...Honestly, it's hard to tell what I would do...

at this point you know that villian has 4 outs to a full house and would need both cards to play on a straight. if you go backwards from there he could easily have had any of that flatting you since you were betting into him...but i personally think i'd have bet the river instead of checking because if you bet he might fold unless he's got one of the (rechecks math.....10 or so cards he would need) but if you check you do so knowing you're screwed if he bets. it's a tough call to make when he bets but i think an easier bet to make when it's in your hands.

I think I would be checking the turn here, pot control for the times he has the gutshot that came in or the flopped full house, unlikely to get 3 streets of value from a worse hand. Check turn, with the intention of betting the river on safe runouts, folding if he raises.

If you let him know he can float and push you out at the end representing an unlikely hand, be prepared for more.

I guess knowing what the type of the villain and his range are the things that would make this decision better. That's what gives some people an edge in the game over the others.

If the villain range is too wide, he could have a full house in this with 4 or 2. If I know nothing about the enemy, I'd just fold.

I think it is a fold. There are a lot of Ax hands that he could have been chasing straights OR flushes with but there are also some overpairs and 4x in his range that you dont beat. I dont know. I incline more to fold.

Wouldnt say the call is the worst option because he will bluff with all of his busted draws but again, you said he is sticky and you went so many to the flop that he can easily have a 4 or 2 because his range is super wide preflop.

Also, your open raising range has literally zero fours and zero deuces.

Fold to many hands beat you and you don’t have enough hands to form a reliable read on Gillian

I tanked for a bit thinking about the combos of hands he could have here and I concluded he had more combos of heart draw/straight draws and combo draws that have bricked on the river. So I called the river. Turns out he had Ac2c.

I think his call on the turn is very loose and not profitable in the long run so I am happy to get the value on the turn. What do you think?

Wait didn’t he have a full house? Personally I’d fold to the river bet such a wet board.

Edit:
Actually I’d make a hero call and hate myself when he turned over A2
