Don't show results! haha.

Normally I think the A is a good card to barrel but we have so much equity that we are committed to calling a turn-check raise, which is totally gross. Since we don't have the nut-flush draw, there are gazillions of Aces in their calling range (AJ/A9/AT/Adxd, etc.) and the board is as draw heavy as it can get (a ton of his draws became top pair + draw hands or straight draw/flush draw hands which he is never folding). I think I take the free card, as played, definitely just call.

Yeah, always bet that turn. I like that sizing, looks ok to me. Something to think about here is that if he's loose postflop, he could peel the turn again with a pair+GS (JT/9T/89/78/88 etc) and often fold the river, so we actually want to make our turn barrel a little smaller so we can jam lots of rivers against those hands that call turn/fold river. We don't want to bet like $35 and be left with a ~half pot bet on the river, and have him monkey-call us with JT or whatever.

Our fold equity is great there too because we have such a good turn card, so we don't even need to make it that big to fold out 78 and 88 and stuff. I mean they sometimes call, but I think we get folds often enough with the $25.

Once we get c/r we have zero fold equity with a jam in my experience, so I'd just look at our price and see if we can call. We're getting 4.6:1 with a draw that's mostly a ~4:1 dog (even vs a set), at worst 6:1 if he has like AQd, plus we have enough implied odds to call. So I call.

Sorry about posting the results. Damn thought I had cut that out.

Yeah I think I played the turn after the ch/r wrong but just wanted to check the initial turn bet.

Yeah i def. bet, like every one has said the ace is the perfect barrel card that should give us alot of FE and when he does call we still have a gazzilion outs.

I bet like 30$ here.

Hey I saw the post edit post! What happened!!

I bet like $25.50 and he min raised. I shoved over the top with basically zero FE (this was this mistake in the hand). He showed 77 and the river gave him quads.

So we should bet/call his turn raise and get it in on the river when we hit?

Yeah, calling the turn raise would have been best since his min raise was giving us good odds to draw to our many outs. Shoving (which I did) just gets the rest of the $$ in with like 30% equity. It's not like he'll fold the river if we hit since the pot is very large in relation to the remaining stacks.

What would you do 200bb deep? How does being "committed" change what would be a bet/fold deeper to a check back? Or would you also check back deeper? Will villain ch/r a wider range 100bb deep? Hopefully you get what I'm trying to say, which is basically barring some insane read this is an easy double barrel.

I prefer to double barrel a K over and A as the A gives people too many two pair hands that they floated with on the flop. Saying that it's still a good DB card.

I like to double barrel bluff when the turn gives me some more precieved added equity, i don't see any reason to DB this turn with your hand.

Check behind for a free river As you have no show down value at all.
