(Pot - $24.50)
UTG bets $10, Hero calls
(Pot - $44.50)
UTG bets $12, Hero calls
Preflop - I knew he was opening a wider range because he is a recreational player and doesn't really know what he's doing so I raise it up to try and get some money in pre.
Flop: It's an ok flop and with one overcard my hand can still be good. He donk leads into me for 1/3 pot and I think calling is my only real option. Raising really only gets called by better and there isn't much to protect from.
Turn: Good turn. If I was ahead on the flop, I'm still ahead. There are some tens in his range (AT, KT, QT, JT, T9, etc.) but he probably isn't going to bet a ten on the river again for value so I call here and hope for it to go check check on the river.
River: The 8c doesn't change much and he bets pretty small so I elect to call.
Is this call good or does he just have too much value in his range?
Results: He had 24o
