I'm not really sure if I should be value betting the turn for starters, but as played im really lost, villain has like 22 left behind and i can see an arguement for all 3 options so i unno

Still tons of stuff he calls a double barrel with on the turn that we beat. 78,89,9T,J8,JT,JQ,AJ,88,TT,etc, I just bet for value.

I don't really see any reason to check turn; it just gives him a free draw/pot control check back thing and narrows his range to the point where we have a tough decision (like right now) when he bets.

Check turn for pot control, call an eventually bet.. check river.. if he bets you have to call when you get 2:1 or higher otherwise fold

Bet the turn, he's still calling with worse.

As played I probably shove over his turn bet because he started with a 1/2 stack and I have gutshot outs and I'm pissed at myself for not betting the turn.

Yessir. You'll be hard pressed to find players who raise with less than what you have on this turn. Especially someone who checks back turn and river with bottom pair.

Which rivers are you value betting if he checks back?

What do you do if it's an ace? 10? 8? 7? 9?
