$100 NL HE 6-max: TPNK turns 2 pair Blind vs. Blind against bluffy Reg 200 bb's deep

Villain is a 25/17/51%(7.0) over 500 hands.
Fold to c-bet = 52%
3-bet = 6% (13% from the button, so he values position)
Raise c-bet = 29%

So we're obviously against someone who likes to make moves with position here. How's my line up to the river, and how do you play the river OOP?

Ultimate Bet, $0.50/$1 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players

Hero (SB): $324.90 (324.9 bb)
BB: $208.75 (208.8 bb)
MP: $28.93 (28.9 bb)
CO: $58.70 (58.7 bb)
BTN: $288.70 (288.7 bb)

Pre-Flop: Hero is SB with 8 K
3 folds, Hero raises to $3, BB calls $2

Flop: ($6) 6 9 K♠ (2 players)
Hero bets $2.25, BB raises to $6, Hero calls $3.75

Turn: ($18) 8 (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $11, Hero raises to $51, BB calls $40

River: ($120) 2 (2 players)
Hero??? (Villain has $148.75 left behind)

I would just put it in, your play is fine imo.

yerp, looks fine to me. Putting out a small donk on the turn is a good option too, but as played it looks fine and we can just bet whatever we think he'l call.

Check-raising is pretty juicy now that I think about it...

500 hands should give you a pretty good iea if villain will make a move here. If so then the C/r looks best.

His stats support him making a move here if you check, however, he may have been chasing a 2nd pair as well, and even if he hits, you all ready c/r'd once, and he may be inclined to check you down. I think the smallish donk/reraise is the better moneymaker.

But then when I do it at the mini-micro tables they will always be holding T7 :(:(

Yeah, I don't think this guy is gonna ship in 1.5 stacks with a 1 pair hand. There were some straight draws on the flop that he'd make moves with as well. I'm just having trouble figuring out if his range is a lot of broken draws/hands that have no showdown value, or if he's got a lot of kings in his range....

I also think ur play is fine here. He was either on a straight draw (which he could have made) or he made a smaller 2 pair. I dont like to play that game on the river of inducing the bluff, I'd just go and bet like 1/3 pot and hope he either reraises or shoves.

The only problem I see here is that Im usually the guy thats holding 107 like dj said............

Looks pretty good to me as well. I can't see 7 10 here, based on his raise post-flop. I think a 1/3 pot bet is in order.

Yea, I definitely like some value here on the end. Half pot?
