$100 NL HE 6-max: Squeeze Flops Top Pair on Monotone Board vs Fish

Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 48/6/1.4

Villain here is a loose fish who doesnt like to fold to cbets. Earlier he showed down middle pair in a 3bet pot after a reg bluffed an A high board vs him. Im shoving the turn for value against flush draws and smaller pairs. You like?

Being his stats aren't the greatest & you've seen a showdown from him of 'middle pair in a 3bet pot after a reg bluffed an A high board', I'd say yes, I like it. Plus, if he's ONLY calling a $29 bet when there's $46 in the pot already & he only has $81 left behind then obviously you have the best hand, shoving the turn is only move you have. <<<< Standard response...

Is it a good idea to squeeze Jt from the blinds when the caller is a huge fish who never folds(im assuming he doesnt fold to 3bets well either)?

The push is fine, not like you can c/f or b/f at this point anyway and he is probably calling all middle clubs and up(at least he will call 72 just as often as a smaller bet)

I dont particularly like squeezing fish who dont fold pre or post flop though.

Yeah postflop looks fine but I really prefer flatting pf. Squeezing gets 4bet sometimes and we've wasted a nice implied odds spot (nice hand, multiway, w/position, fish in the middle...), plus the fish calls lots and we're stuck oop with a hand we need to bluff often with in order to win.

the idea behind a squeeze is to win the pot preflop. Also JTs is good to play multiway too good to squeeze. Imo u should be willing to to squezee with worse hands not good ones. and if u know he is calling u dont want to 3bet and play JTs oop in a 3bet pot.
