Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 54/7/1.8

I went back and forth with this hand. Minus a couple of 2 pairs that I didn't think would completely be in his range, there's not a ton of second best hands. 22/9T, and sometimes KT I guess. Someone w/ 1.8 aggression I think would just be calling with just about all of those except 22 most of the time. One of those crappy days may have clouded my thinking.

All seems fine in my opinion. I would play it the same way, there is definitely a lot of hands that villain could have that would pay off your raise on the river. Once he re raises you obviously your hand is not going to be good too often but seeing as its such a small raise you dont have to be correct that much so a call is probably profitable, especially against a fish who could overvalue a top two pair type hand. Very weird line for villain to take though as the only hand that makes much sense at all is QJ but even that exact hand is played strangely. Everything else he could hold is just bizarre.

If he is a passive fish than his shove on the river means you are probabely crushed. And crushed badly. You have like the 5th of the possible 2 pairs there. I cannot ever, not in my dreams hope to give you and advice but when a tourist donks a small raise OOP on the river you should accept the showdown and hope it is a blocking bet with K high. They do this from time to time but not that often. Usually is fish play waiting for a shove. At 10NL I see thousands of spots like this. Most of the time I call the small raise and I am beat. I made the mistake to shove and bumped into the nuts. The only 2 cards that made the biggest straight possible there.
So after I saw that your villain shoved here I think he had QJ with one of them of spades.

So originally he limps and then calls and check calls the flop, very passive ....Unless you have been three betting a ton and he has adjusted to limp with strong hands. I might play 99's or KK in this way for deception against an aggressive 3 bettor on the button.
I'm struggling against these vpip 54% players, you can't put them on anything.. His check on the turn doesn't make sense unless he was going to rr you at that point, so a good check by you for pot control.
I favour QJ suited or 99..as his reraise on the river looks strong and not so big that he doesn't want a call.
What did he have then?

I contemplated folding, but of course can't against a fish here. I was expecting to see QJ a lot. He had KT and got mad in the chat that I slow rolled him and said he would call if I shoved. lol

It was one of those funky poker days where not much goes right, so wanted to double check my sanity.
