Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 32/25/3.5

Line check really, 450 hands

Villain has been 3betting me a fair bit ~7/8 times over a few tables. He has folded to 4bets 3/3 before. His overall 3b is 10.6 and 10 on BTN (30) and 8.5 SB (47) and 13.2 BB (53) so he is definately a heavy 3bettor.
Im not really sure on sizing of 4bet here as I dont want him to flat so I think about 40?. and then we just have to call it off. Or should we just let it go as we have no reason to assume hes 5bet jamming light, but that seems weak and flatting is not going to be fun vs him OOP

Prima, $0.50/$1 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

BTN: $253.08 (253.1 bb)

UTG: $101.78 (101.8 bb)
Hero (MP): $128.78 (128.8 bb)
CO: $100 (100 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP with T

UTG calls $1, Hero raises to $5, CO folds, BTN raises to $16.50,

How many hands do you have on this guy in total?

edit: 450 right

I think a 4bet is called for, if villains have 3bet stats that high at 10nl I am happy 4betting or 4bet shoving with TT

That would be 100NL, not 10NL, I think the stack sizes kinda give the game away. ;)

Errrr yeah, I realize this is 100nl lol. Just saying what I do in this situation at 10nl, maybe it didn't read that way

Right or wrong here, I'm wanting to see this flop. I don't want to shove T's, and I don't want to fold. I can close the action by flatting.

I would use the same raise you might hear folks suggest as the PF 4 bet, as the C-bet, and I would have that first in vigorish thing to me being OOP. So for that same money, you get to see the flop, and prevent villain from shoving pre.

When villain repops the flop, I could muck, and the net result is that I had a choice, I got more info for the same price (or less) and retained my options and opportunities a little longer at no more cost to me.

Sort of a small ball vs big ball thing here.

$36 and go with it. If you think he's not 5-bet shoving light then $27-$30 fold to shove.
