$100 NL HE 6-max: Backdoor flush gets there on the river, 3 bet villain's raise or just call?

So I played this hand a while ago and was just sharing it with someone else. I was told a call would be better on river, I disagree and am 99% I'm correct when I 3 bet, so I just feel like rubbing it in his face. I think the rest of the hand is pretty standard. IIRC I had a measly sample on villain and we didn't get involved with each other until now.

Stacks:
* needsrent with $295.50
* BTN with $113.05
* SB with $100.00
* BB with $101.50
* UTG with $21.00
* MP with $160.10

Looks absolutely standard to me. He could have slowplayed a straight, set, two pair, improved to any of the above, and can't really give you credit for a flush.

In other words he's value raising much worse, and will also call the shove with much worse. And I think the worse hands show up much more often than the better.

Yeah, this is pretty standard, imo. Like the only legitimate hand he could have here that beats you is QsJs and there's just so many two pair/set/straight combos in his range that this isn't even close imo, even when this deep.

I'm not entirely sure that i cbet this flop. Other than that, the hand is standard. It's just a cooler that he had a better flush.

Yap, you guys summed up my thoughts pretty much. What are your reasons for checking the flop belgo? I think my hand was strong enough to bet, even if he has a J and calls I have quite a few outs to improve, as well as backdoor spades. I also don't want to lose initiative and c/c and I have a tough decision if he bets an ugly turn as well. Thoghts?

i would let him bet and then when the final card comes up. If u have the better cards. Push a all in!.. Thats my opinion on what i would do. But seeings as he had the better flush and if u knew u had a low flush i would of folded.

It's a flop that hits villain's flat calling range pretty heavily, so we have little fold equity. Our hand is not strong enough to stand a raise, which he could do with a lot of semi bluffs, and he could even be airbluff raising a lot on that kind of flop since it hits his range better than ours.

Yeah, I'm not c betting this a lot if I have a read that I'll get raised a lot, but readless I just assume he's not planning on bluffing me out a bunch. That said, I'm still c/cing a % of the time so I get where you're going with his range hitting a lot on that flop.

I'm not entirely sure that i cbet this flop. Other than that, the hand is standard. It's just a cooler that he had a better flush.

Whether we cbet this is extremely opponent-dependent. On the one hand I think we can vbet thinner on these boards just because a lot of the hands they call with are draws and pair+FD. On the other hand even bottom pair+gutter we're not that far ahead of. I think my default would be betting here just because anything that keeps nut hands in my range is good but you're right a good aggressive opponent in position can make our life hell and even against passive donks we're going to be in tough spots on like half of the turn and river cards. When you check I assume you're just check-folding right?
