you have options when it comes to bet-sizing, but a few of the things you want to think about generally are:
1) what immediate calling odds
am i giving my opponent?
here villain is getting almost 3:1 on his call and he has position. it's hard for him to fold much.
2) what depth am i left with on the flop if called?
here you have a little over pot behind ($72 behind with $62.50 in pot). that's ok, but if you had made your preflop raise to $34 instead, you'd be jamming $66 into $74 on the flop which is preferable imo.
