I am going to post this hand all the way up to showdown, basically as a line check. My thought process on the flop was either fold or flat, because raising only gets worse hands to fold and better hands to stack me. Please feel free to criticize any part of this hand, I want criticism.

Fold on the flop imo. All you have is a weak 3 of a kind with no redraw to a nut fullhouse. You're behind tons of hands and possibly have to dodge spades if he has a FD. K9 is 100% to win against you atm, A9 is going to be hard to catch up to. I don't mind you leading but once he raises like that you have to let it go.

Lots of people overvalue this type of hand when it's the type that needs to be played as a small ball type scenario. You have a good hand yes, but you're behind a lot or at best left wondering if you're ahead maybe. I'm leaning towards villain showing A9/K9/KK a lot of the time here unless you get lucky and he's pumping 10sJxQxAs, which is still only like a 55/45 dog to you on the flop.
