Playing Rush poker here. I'm usually not a huge fan of 3-betting any AAxx pre because I feel like I'm playing my hand face-up, but chose to do it here, I guess cause I was out of position and we were multi-way. Maybe I'm just over-thinking here but am I always going broke here on the flop, especially being out of position?

First of all, you are not turning you hand faced up unless you only 3 bet AAxx. You need to balance your 3 bet range in PLO and be doing it with mid rundowns, 4 face cards, double suited high cards etc.

Seeing as there are diamond draw/ broadway cards you are going to still be getting value from hands JJ and nut flush draws. Yes you would run into the straight but you still have decent equity against it so its a bet/get in on the flop. If you want to take it more conservatively, you can c/c and see how it plays out on the turn but the SPR is not great so you most likely have to get it in on the flop.

Okay that's what I figured, I just wasn't sure if everyone thought I'd get a lot of action from those weaker hands. Our equity:

ProPokerTools Omaha Hi Simulation
600,000 trials (Randomized)
board: k:diamond:J:spade:A:diamond:
AcAsKc9c 60.33% (360,724 wins, 2,530 ties)
QT**, KK**, JJ**, *d*d** 39.67% (236,746 wins, 2,530 ties)

Anyway, I potted the flop and they both folded, lol.
