alright..
This is HU and the combo counting gets a bit difficult at this point but I'd like to ask you all a a question that maybe can generalize some situations.

Villain now bets and tightens his range. On the flop he could pretty much have any K,9,8 or any PP In btwn K and 9.
what's his range on this turn? How many 8s do we ever give him? Is there even a possibility of an 8?
Is there any chance villain bets here with a PP when he is dominated from the bottom as well as top of my range?

what would you add or deduce from this range?
88+,A3s+,K9s-K8s,Q9s-Q8s,J8s+,T8s+,93s+,A3o+,K9o-K8o,Q9o-Q8o,J8o+,T8o+,93o+,85o

This range is 30% btw, I felt that I could make it this wide because we both open around 50% (I open closer to 40% fwiw). the bet on the flop could still be his entire range or even most of it... but I feel that the turn bet chucks at least half of that opening range out and so I feel comfortable narrowing him down to about 30%

What are your reads on villain? Why did you min raise the flop?

villain is a fish playing 72\89 (bb, sb vpip) 3.5 AGG.. throughout the match I kept goading him... he is the sort of player that shuts down vs big raises( a biggr re on the flop would fold all of his range except for hands that have me beat which are all Axs) but will value town himself pretty profitably if I let him go. The min bet is a goading bet. his entire range is calling the min bet... but I dont want to make this extremely villain specific..
I'm essentially wondering on an A998 or a K885 or whatever it would be, what preconditions should be met for me to add the bottom pair hands or straight draws and how many can I add to my EV calc

A2 is obviously a big underdog but even against a range of 9x and Ax exclusively It seems that AT+ is 50-50... now the question is if I'm deluding myself and ranges are actually tighter\looser

Also another last question is how would you treat a A989 board as opposed to a A998 board?

I probably call the turn and depending on villains turn and river barrelling frequency, c/c or c/f river. If villain has shown that he is will to make bigger bets with a bluff its a call. If he bets bigger with a made hand, its a fold. Most of these fishes have very big tells in bet sizing so I would really base my decision on that. Also, if he has not been betting multiple streets/ potting with bluffs, it has to be a c/f on the river.
