I'm just raising and getting it in. His range seems like it's mostly stuff like one pair + straight draws or even a lone 8 or 7 that's trying to get to showdown cheap. Even if he has 2 pair, you have like 30% equity with your open ended + any 9 + any board pair that doesn't give him a fullhouse. Sets and straights are a really small part of his range... raise and get it in now. Bet more on flop too, 70c is too small. Go for 90c.

I dunno, we can weight sets/two pair/straights less than the pair+draw hands, but since we have two of the cards that make up the big draw on this board, the pair+draw hands are even less likely, and his entire range has to be pretty weighted towards them in order for us to raise/call here.

I do think his range will consist of random other stuff too sometimes though, like 55/44, random 8x/7x hands, and that probably makes up for the times you're behind. Plus two pair hands are the most likely of his holdings and as AB said, we have pretty good equity against them, so in other words we're not in terrible shape when we get it in.

i totally agree that u have great showdown value as of now. i would flat this bet and see what the river brings.
