$10 NL HE Full Ring: Tricky spot w/ JJ.

Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 24/5/2

Villan CBets Flop + Turn 100% of the time. Never seen him 3Bet pre out of 70hands so i've got to be carefull in this hand.
Altho I have an overpair is it wise to call his Turn pot bet or should I just fold and move on.

I find the turn the bet kind of strange, why does he leave himself $0.82 instead of shoving if he knows you're beat? What actions did you take to finish out the hand?

fold preflop

Are you high? I'm getting 2:1 IP w/ a premium PP. If he's 3Betting w/ QQ/KK/AA then i'm looking to set mine. Plus i'm 200BB+ deep so I can make these calls preflop.
If he's 3Betting w/ worse AK/AQ/TT/99 then i'm way ahead.

His turn bet is a bit messed up (why didn't he just shove?) but i'm thinking i'm either wa/wb.
I decided to fold but I wish I called now because me and my friend were talking and we were saying hands like AsKs/Qs or TT/99 would make this kind of play since he only has 50BB he's pot commiting himself.

This means you dont have odds to set mine, effective stacks are only 50bb. Fold pre or get it in pre(4 bet enough so that your never folding and call if he shoves) depending on your reads.

I hate calling here against a ss. You don't have odds to set mine, and by calling here you leave yourself open to a lot of difficult decisions on later streets because of villains awkward stack size (this hand is a clear cut example). for this particular hand I am probably folding to the 3 bet here as you stated he never has three bet in 70+ hands. As played though I am calling what is essentially a turn shove as villain doesn't have much left an they is probably some range of hands you can beat.

Oh and one more thing, it doesn't matter that you are 200bb's deep. Your actions are judged by his effective stack, not yours, because his stack is smaller. See the stack sizes chapter in the book Professional No Limit Hold'em for a better explanation.

Generally if he's only committing half of his small stack here, to me it looks like he wants a call here and then he can shove on the river.

He only has 50bb.

A 5 pfr

0 3-bet

Sucks. But he has you crushed here I think.
A fold preflop would be ok.

However, with such a small 3-bet amount if he had 100+bb stack I would def. call in this same spot hoping to hit a set and stack him.
