Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 26/24/4

I try not to level myself but this is a hand that was interesting for two reasons:

1. Villain is very aggressive late position.
2. We have a lot of history of steals and resteals because of my position. I think he was tilting because he lost his stack calling a 5bet with a10 when I had ak and I have got the best of him in a lot of pots. I was thinking the bets look a little desperate but then I think is he playing to his image and knows I will call him down light because he's making it look like he's steaming? Could I be thinking too much into this? What does his bet sizes tell you?

What's his 3-bet percentage and fold to 3-bet? 140 deep, I'm not super pumped about playing a long drawn out postflop game against a guy with a crazy range. My first inclination would be to 3-bet/5-bet against an opponent like this.

Nh, now call the river. If he thinks like I do (which is unlikely, but whatever) he knows you flatted on the button, so your range is going to be pretty weak in this spot. So he may just be firing to see if you fold all your JT/QJ/diamonds.

His fold to 3bet was around 60%. I wasn't sure how he would change his 4bet / shoving range after our last all in. Like would villains still go all in with hands like a10 after seeing that my 3bet range is tighter? I guess I wasn't sure how to react if he 4bet so guess thats why I decided to see a flop. I am not normally happy about being all in pf with aq as you're nearly always dominated or flipping

Yeah, but you get folds when he 4-bets with his trash.

But if you've just seen him ship ATo preflop, he's probably calmed down if he has any discipline at all. And given his river bet size (bluffs would prolly be ~6$ no?), I wouldn't hate a fold. But I generally just pay all LAGs.

LAGs get paid. Remember that. If they have their shit this time, so be it. But generally just pay off players who are too loose & too aggressive.

Well, pay off LAGs when they only rep 4 combos.

Yea I thought paying him off was they best play but I used up my time bank trying to make a decision. He showed 42o lol, it's a funny old world, waiting for an hour to get my stack in and when someone puts theirs in it's with 42!
