If I ever call a mini 3 bet like that with a hand like QJs Im not looking for a top pair type hand. I want to flop a big hand or a huge draw and play for stacks with the assumed implied odds. These raises from a not complete idiot(like a 15/9/30) are really big hands like 95% of the time. So if it was me Id either just call the flop or fold it and would never raise it.

Agreed with brank, flat flop always. The only time I raise is to balance my bluffs on this board vs a thinking reg. I really, really don't think that's the case here.

Flatting pf is fine given your odds and how strong your hand is, but to reiterate, we're not flatting to flop top pair and try to raise it.

Flatting does a couple things. It forces the villain to bluff two streets and it gives you value when you call. TP w/ J kicker is a little weak to be raising for value. I flat the flop. I would call the turn though. I would fold the river if a Q or J doesn't come. Betting 3 times with a pfr is a pretty strong line.

So it is okay to call two streets and then fold the river to a third barrel?

Depends.

In order to call that turn we have to be sure he's either barreling worse (like JdJx; doubtful), or semibluffing big diamonds or pure bluffs. If this were an offsuit 7, I'd be pretty surprised to see him bluff here, and he can't really value bet worse, so I'd probably fold. With the 7d he can have AdKx and AxKd and still barrel, so I might be inclined to flat once more.

The big issue is whether or not he bluffs river with missed draws though. If the river bricks off, we'll be getting tremendous odds on a shove, but we'd have to know he was bluff shoving quite a bit in order to call.

So...it depends.

It "depends" huh? lol. Okay, that does give me a lot more to think about when considering his actions to narrow his range. TY Chuck!
