Don't like it preflop. Why flat the min 3bet? You have the AK, play it like a man!

Dont play that much cash,,,, However Some more...probably alot more should have gone in pf....post Im quite sure u were drawing to 3 outs to maybe chop, maybe suckout. Of which you dont have the odds to call to be in that post flop with the pf action that was taking place...you def got to let tptk go post flop.

lesson: play big hands like they are big

What I'm gathering is that I should 4-bet my A K preflop.

(he raised to 0.70, I re-raise to $2.50)

Gonna write that down.. :)

Sorry about the full text of the hand, I have discovered the free hand converter now. Im a noob :p

No problem. You'll get it. Keep posting.

And yeah making it ~$2.25 and calling a shove there would be pretty standard.

1) Play full stacked. You can only get $6.59 of SB's $37

2) $10nl FR, min-raise often means medium pocket pair or suited Ace unless he always min-raises. Repop is the best option pre.

Are we only 4 betting because we're short stacked and villain only min 3bet us? I know i find myself flatting 3 bets with ak in position pretty often and thought that was standard.

We 4-bet for fold equity and because if we get called we only hate AA (we're 30% against KK). Most flops are hard to get value from too when we hit TPTK. Also sometimes we get calls from AQ etc.
