Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 39/28/2

Aggressive player with a wide range. It is a dangerous board but I think I beat a lot of hands and draws?

I was afraid of being check-raised lol

I've done this many times and in the end I have the feeling I'll never know what he had. He just picked the spot I gave him.

Bet the turn, he has to pay for that card. Now you don't know if he is bluffing because you checked the turn, if he had a flush from the flop (unlikely btw) or if you just offered him the straight.

Generally when people call on wet "co-ordinated" boards they have marginal holdings, most people are raising made hands on boards like this. The whole way this guy played on this board doesnt really scare me, if he had a straight he would definitley not be slow playing it i dont think, and you cant presume people flop flushes because thats hard to do and if you play scared in poker you never do well

He won't let me check the river he's betting at me lol :p. I remember thinking on the turn that if I check behind and the board pairs if he has been slow-playing a big hand I can get a big payoff and if not I can call a bet on the river without it doing too much damage, but if I get raised on the turn I would have to fold. Is this weak? Should I be more confident with my hand?

Yes, and moreover you should give villain less credit; all he's done is call two moderate bets. He has far more draws than made hands in his range, and most made hands are trying to get it in on this wet a flop.
This is a guy who sees loads of flops, and apparently shuts down his aggression post? I wouldn't give him a lot of credit for metagaming.
So, when he checks again on a bricked turn, just take it at face value: still drawing, hoping to see a free card. So don't give him one!

BTW You're going to see a bad card OTR more often than the board pairing: any diamond other than 4, any 7, 10, and Q. That's 18 bad cards vs. 10 cards that fill you up.

K thanks guys I have played a few hands on this board in a similar fashion so time to learn from it. For the record I called and he showed AQ with a diamond so I shouldn't have given a freebie
