I know I called without the odds in a multiway pot. Was certainly a mistake but I'd like to know how to act on the turn, I'm almost sure he has a J for trips so I bet on the turn (I actually think that the bet was rather small) and he calls. He then fires a pot bet on the river, what should I do about this ? I don't feel like folding since he might just have trips jacks but reraising him by shoving and putting him all in looks stupid if he ended up with a full...

What do you think about this one ?

TIA,

ARU

I'm probably raising the turn there, the flush draw hits....though it's unlikely....and the villain is loose enough to have many jacks which haven't upgraded to full house yet and because it's 10nl you don't have to worry about a drooler like this rationalising that you have a better jack....and besides he will draw to full house even if you raise and he thinks you have a better jack.

However.....the call is fine because he might not actually have the jack and raising him will make him fold the entirity of his non-jack range so either line has it's advantages.

As played calling the river is fine and I don't think there's much value in raising.

hands you beat which call shove - KJ, JT, J9, whether the weak jacks will call the shove is questionable.

You lose to - AA, QQ, JJ, 88, AJ, QJ, J8

Many hands beat you: you lose even to pair 88 or K high
fold river is simple and cheap decision

Hero has straight, I'll have to go back and read up on hand rankings but i'm pretty sure a straight beats king high.

And don't fold. With the passive way you played the hand villain can easily show up with a tonne of trip jacks from J2-J7 and bet big hoping you hit the ace.
