stats up top for vil. he was squeezing a big fish. 3b stat of 11.5 over 162 hands at the time.

with his aggro as high as it is, im guessing he plays 88-AA plus some AcKc, AcQc type hands this way

just fold preflop villain isnt going to be bluffing the fish so its marginal whether you are ahead or not preflop id rather 4bet get in preflop if you think your ahead of villains range as the fish can still 4bet which you would have to fold to so you could just be burning 1.65 for no reason. As played you should get it in on the flop as thers not many better flops for you other than a jack high flop calling flop an seeing an qk or a would makre it an even worse spot with half your stack already in.

fold or 4bet pre.

The higher you move up in stakes the more important this type of spot becomes. Don't flat 3-bets from the blinds with this type of hand.

As played bet/fold the flop. Since you didn't do that, c/f. As played, shove the turn. You might as well try to turn your hand into a bluff to salvage this.

fold or 4bet preflop

This because flatting 16 big blinds and trying to play JJ OOP seems like a pretty negative EV idea to me. I would lean more towards folding in general. Given the player type this might be a special case though.

Yes. A far far better player than I'll ever be once explained this to me: When you flat 3-bets from the blinds, regs will put you on TT-QQ and tend to play very well against you. He said he'd rather have AA, AK or 55 for deception instead of having the hand that they think you have.

As noted, the reg is not going to be 3-betting a fish's EP raise wide. Also if you're going to put a 3/4 pot-sized bet in on the flop, you might as well lead it yourself to trap the fish in and make the reg play honestly. C/C is just awful because if the fish can easily have QQ+ and stuff it in.
