Your bet sizing on every single street is uber ridiculous. You need to bet more. Preflop, the proper bet size is closer to 60c and 1/3 bets on each street is no good. bet more when you are betting or if you dont want to bet, check.

What he said.

You want to get value from your big hands. To do this you need to bet enough to get stacks in the middle. Your bet sizing is not accomplishing this in any way. .60 preflop, 2/3 to 3/4 pot on flop, 2/3 to 3/4 pot on turn, remaining few BBs on river.

Reinforcing the same theme, if cutoff had, say, middle pair on the flop the small bets give him much better odds to call.

The way he played this his range is weighted with hands that don't beat you 'till the river.

So if you're ahead the whole time you lost value. If you were ahead until the end you ignored your fold equity.

This makes the answer to your question an easy YES. :santaclau

I would have bet 50c pre-flop and the full pot after the flop. My standard second barrel on the turn is 70% of the pot.

I hate the check-call on the river and usually do. In this situation I would probably make a strong bet around 60% of the pot (slightly more than my standard 50%pot river bet) but fold to a raise as the board is a little scary and KQ 88 K8 any Q and 33 could be out there.

EDIT:

Looking at stack sizes I think villian might actually be all-in before the river... so anyway!

Yeah this is 10NL man! My bet sizing has been critisized but this is ridiculous!

Sort this out ASAP :)
