Only 25 hands on villain.

Should I double barrell? I think the ace is a good card to fire again with.

Can I call the river shove, personally I dont think I should.

Sorry, I missed your 1st question.

Personally, I am one of those people who check/fold if I miss my set with a low pocket pair. Unless I am up against somebody who I know will fold a lot to C-bets.

So I would not double-Barrel. But I can easily see peoples arguments as to why you should.

The c-bet was OK.The board was too dry to not do so. Also i understand the reason why you c-bet the turn but only partially . You need to know that he is capable of folding. With only a sample of 25 hands you should probabely stop there and check. That is a fancy move for this stakes.
As played call. If he has a bigger set it is a just a cooler
PS . I just saw that this was a ZOOM game. Forget what i said. Keep it simple man. Do not try to bluff the crawd. I bet he had AK, KK or AA or 99.

I think you'd have to discount KK/AA since he didn't 3bet preflop and give him 44 as well but even if it's exactly the range you laid out it's a snap call on the river since we have 50% equity against that range (9 AK combos and 9 set combos). I like the turn bet ONLY if you know he floats frequently and gives up to further aggression.

I think a lot of players at 10NL do float often and I thought I could take him off a king with aggression, I know it was only 25 hands but he was quite passive.

I was sure the call was right, just wanted some advice on barrelling, thanks very much guys.
