poker stars $10.00 No Limit Hold'em - 8 players - View hand 2167035

MP2: $15.91 - VPIP: 79, PFR: 26, 3B: 33, AF: 1.2, Hands: 43
Hero (BTN): $12.16 - VPIP: 18, PFR: 16, 3B: 5, AF: 3.9, Hands: 130875

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is BTN with :8c4: :10c4:
3 folds, MP2 calls $0.10, 1 fold, Hero raises to $0.40, 2 folds, MP2 calls $0.30

Flop: ($0.95) :5h4: :9c4: :7c4: (2 players)
MP2 checks, Hero bets $0.70, MP2 calls $0.70

Turn: ($2.35) :8h4: (2 players)
MP2 checks, Hero checks

River: ($2.35) :8s4: (2 players)
MP2 bets $2.30, Hero ???? Look how nice my equity screw me out.

And one more question. I see these days fishes (like 60/5, AF 1.5) deep stacked at the tables. For example I see a fish with 180bb and I have 300 hands with them and when I put the cursor on him Holdem Manager show me that he is +2-4 BIs. How the hell are this guys making money? They just want to see every flop and with a weak draw they call call call and I think a lot of players give up after a Cbet or double barrel and the fishes take the money because they have to give up. I don't know, I can't explain this. Anybody? Opinions?

Call, raise is probably too thin and you're not folding.

Biased sample. If you follow individual fish and see how they do you can see they probably lose, but when they bust they're not at the table when you are but if they double they're always there with you. Just remember for every fish with 180bb (presumably ~+80bb) there's probably 10 other fish who lost all their money.

What he said. A fish can be up a couple of buy ins over 300 hands just as easily as a strong player can be down a couple of buy ins over 300 hands, but these things have a way of correcting themselves. Heh.

wait somehow I missed the fact that there was a 4-straight lol, probably actually fold river. The part about fish and biased sample sizes still stands though.

Well played Imo, on turn we have showdown value against the fish and we don't want to give up our equity if he has a straight, river is tough, I would say call. We have played the hand passively and are HU. Not enough hands to determine if fish is agg or passive or in between.

Also fish may look like they are making money but that's only short-term, long-term they are depositing every month or so.

What he said. Checking back turn may have induced something from clubs, 9x hands and other random holdings. Might as well look him up and make a note. Heh.

make a crying call and expect to lose. alot of the time, these morrons come up with the goods. Only good thing is that he might have translated your check on turn as weakness and might be trying to steal it.
