Yeah you only need to be good here 32% of the time on the river.I believe you'll be good at least 40% or so.

I think bet/fold the turn is better.

I don't like calling the river raise, but against this guy i call it.

Against this guy? passive player with low AF raises river and you feel good about TPTK on a paired straighty board?

I got that, but you said that against THIS guy, you call it. Isn't THIS guy one of the worst type for a hero call?

His VPIP/PRF should indicate that over this tiny sample that he is a fish. AF takes AGES to converge, so we should take his "fish" stats way more seriously than his AF. Over 67 hands pretty much ignore it. Even more so on the river.

So does the fish have worse kings/bluffs/random JJ hands in his range that we beat occasionally. Of course he does, most of the time we are beat, so i dont like calling, but in game, i call.

I dont think he does raise rivers with JJ, or even worse Kx. The default for him there is to just call behind, he's passive and they like to just call. His raise looks like pure value to me...

I agree that b/fing the turn is better though, def should have bet the turn as we still get value from worse Kx and Fd's

His VPIP/PRF should indicate that over this tiny sample that he is a fish.

It also indicates that he's passive, regardless of the convergence of his AF.

I really don't see how we are ever good on the river here. And I'm a calling station.

Yeah i just fold the river still, the only reason we could be good the 33% of time or whatever we need is because we took a FOS line when we checked the turn and bet river, if this were the same situation after we'd bet the turn it's even more of an easy fold.

I like how Mr. Greenstein and bet bet bet. Alot of times I have found that most players dont fold to cbets anymore. Also maybe check his won money at showdown when bet/raise stats and see what they say. I have to assume we have him beat but maybe make the call and take a note on what he shows up with to help you in future hands. Doesnt make sense if he had a queen why wouldnt he bet turn for value. A str8 i would bet turn as well to force a flush draw out or make them pay. Actually it looks like he may have been on a flush draw and missed and trying to take it away.

I dunno hard spot really isnt a correct play here IMO
Then again im amazed how many small PP show up in this spot.

I'm a bit of a station too, but river raises aren't usually thin/bluffs unless you have a specific read. Nice fold.

I think the turn is a bet/fold as you say.
