Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 74/8/2

Just wanted to see what people thought of this, guys pretty passive pre but looks like he could be a bit more aggressive post, although only have 38 hands so AF cant mean much atm, i b/c flop b/c boards paired and all that beats me is a 9x hand and 55, was thinkin maybe to get it in here being oop with the FD on board but the guys 74/8 and raising me so didnt really know what to do. I also call because he's a fish and they do stupid shit sometimes.

Ott i'm planning on c/f'ing to more agg but he bets small compared to his flop action and I call again because its starting to look a bit weird, also him betting smaller means the flush is less likely imo im not looking like i'll go away so i think he's go for bigger value there

River i'm left with $5.54 and think ffs ive cocked this up lol wasn't sure whether to just stick it in here or just try and get to showdown , c/c a (real) small bet or just hope he checks it back.

This is a total opposing player "read" decision. I think u have to get away from a hand where so many spades are out where u dont have one. I think u have to play Kings strong and just take the bad luck in stride - fold to the turn bet unless you know hes blufing a very high percentage. You can find a better spot to dbl up on him. If ur gonna rais eonly to .40 I think its a folding hand - if u raise a very big amout pre flop- and he calls then jam him on flop and see if he chases a likely 30% hand.

Just get it in on the flop. Yeah he'll have some 9x hands but he'll also have other pps and FDs he'll be willing to get it in with.

In general I think you need to be able to jam a guy at will or drop down to .02/.04 where you can afford to. If you can get ur $ in 70% plus u should do well most months. I seem to do well in micros when i figure out a tables pain threshold for raises. How much is gonna get this guy off a flush draw? You may only have to bet $2 or .75 cents... If a fish is calling with connectors how much is gonna get him off his 45 when 5 hits and ur sitting with ace high on the flop? will it be half his stack? The more accurate you are with value bets and semi-bluff re-raises the more profitable u will be in micro.

74 VPIP doesn't tell us how often he has called when there was a bet in front of him. How has he been playing in this situation?

74/8 tells us he's calling a hell of a lot. Both calling raises and open limping.

Is a 74/8/2 really going to raise the flop with a draw?He might be playing 66-TT like the nuts o.Deff 9 is in his range, passive villains like to "trap"so hard for me to see 55 in is raising range.

An AF of 2 coupled with a PFR of only 8 means he goes apeshit postflop quite often actually. I'd expect him to be raising draws and lots more actually.

Nasty spot but I'm shipping the flop. He has 9x and his stats appears passive but fook me he's a 74vpip his range going in to this flop is so huge I just can't fold. That + even fish go mad on paired boards.

Only 38 hands. Making an anagram of villains name will probably give us a more accurate read than AF will here.
