$10 NLHE Full Ring: Large preflop pot, cbet drawy high card flop against limp caller and nit?

Merge - $0.10 NL - Holdem - 9 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

SB: $15.42 (8 / 6)
BB: $2.70
UTG: $2.90
UTG+1: $10.00
MP: $14.82
MP+1: $6.93 (15 / 5)
LP: $14.80
Hero (CO): $10.00
BTN: $13.03

SB posts SB $0.05, BB posts BB $0.10

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero has A:diamond: Q:spade:

fold, fold, MP calls $0.10, MP+1 calls $0.10, LP calls $0.10, Hero raises to $0.65, fold, SB calls $0.60, fold, fold, MP+1 calls $0.55, fold

Flop: ($2.25, 3 players) T:spade: 9:diamond: K:diamond:
SB checks, MP+1 checks, Hero ???

So is cbetting this flop texture here going to be profitable? If you think I should bet, how much? We do have a GS and BDFD so it's not like we completely whiffed.

In general probably check back with this much BD equity (we have 31% against KQ, which is practically the nuts here)

but

these look like two tight/passive callers (don't expect them to have a ton of J9, JT, QJ, KJ hands that connect hard here) and this board is a lot better for your range than theirs and I'd never expect them to CR so $1.25 is cool, firing again on diamond/broadway/A-high turns.

I know you like preraiseing 4x+1xlimper but ehh. 50cent pre imo.As played i cbet $1.10 on the flop.BTW my plan "was" to play 10nl on Merge so thanks for letting me know there's 100-200nl grinders playing there now.

Come on in the water's warm. I never played 200nl btw. Black Friday messed that plan up.

As for preflop, there are SOOOOO many limp/call pre, fold to 70% of cbet losers on Merge at these stakes that the bigger the better preflop imo. It's free money.

Doubt SB has AJ, KQ-KJs in his range. AK is certainly there as are all pairs 22-JJ. AQ and AJs likely as well.

Limper estimate is probably pretty close. He's only been at the table for 20 hands, hasn't gone to SD yet, and is down to $7 or w/e from a $10 starting stack.

I consider KQs a top 5% hand but yeah I forgot there are people who fold it pre to a single raise.

Really, WV posting a hand LOL:D :D :D raise .60 pre but .65 ok .A 8vpip 6 pfr calls and a 15/5 calls they deff have small pocket prs prob 77- setminers . I would bet 2/3 pot in position one over and lots of good outs and hope jack comes . Don't take any of my suggestions to heart just wanted to post because i seen who op was LOL...

PS: I hope you won the Pot ,see you at the tables;)

I check this back a large % of the time because your hand has some equity but you can't stand any heat. Also, imo most things that fold to a flop bet will most likely fold to a turn/river bet if they don't lead, so you can always try a delayed bluff later on if you don't improve. Barring that, I would give up in this situation quite a bit vs two villains.

I would check back quite a bit here but I'd probably bet against these two player types.

65 pre is a PSB and like I said making it smaller is just letting the limp/callers keep too much of my money.

I don't really think I'll get any more folds if I bet 2/3 pot than if I bet smaller.

You playing 10nl on Merge? If so PM your screen name.

Hmm, 60-70c preflop for sure, i like that size a lot under those conditions.

If it was multiway with fish i would probably tend to check it back, but as one is a 8/6 nit (pretty much putting the majority of his range on small-med pocket pairs) i think we can pretty much forget about him and treat it as if we're just HU with the 15/5.

As i think we're pretty much just playing with the 15/5 i doubt he's gonna be the check raising type so no need to worry about that so i think im c-betting the flop about $1.25, we can be happy with an outright fold and we have lots of equity and we can always check back the turn to see a free card?
