Poker Hand Converter By Cardschat.com Poker Forum

UTG +1 raise PF... I suspect him to be on A10s+, AJo+ or maybe 88+... I 3bet with my KK and he calls, narrowing a bit his range I think he has a high pocket pair, AQs+ or AK. Seeing the flop I don't see him on a made straight but maybe on a flush draw, the Q set is a possibility but badbeat happens and I can't really check on this flop... the turn come a nice scare card, great, I love KK in those times, so I check and see what villain will do... On the river I really smell the flush and decide to check and see what he does.

Does it seems like a good play to you ? And also, is my hand ranging looks accurate to you, seeing his play and stats ?

TIA

You say you bet the turn and he still calls, but the hand converter says you checked the turn.

If you did bet the turn and he called, I would check the river as well. If you checked the turn and he checked behind, I would bet the river for value.

Check/Check seems fine as long as you would call a reasonable bet on the river. He very well could bet after you checked twice if he has AQ, he might even think JJ's or 10's are good as you didn't fire again on the turn.

I agree completely with this.

The hand as displayed is really passively played and if we checked the turn I would definitely bet the river because there is value to be had from top pair-type hands. I doubt he checks the turn back with a flush or straight.

You asked for feedback about ranges - I don't think you can really narrow your opponent's range of holdings between his initial raise and him calling your reraise because your reraise was quite small, and as I said above I don't see what makes you "smell the flush" on the river seeing as flushes will usually bet the turn.
