Hero checks, MP2 bets $1.50, Hero ??????

Obviously in retrospect by checking the turn I put myself in a tough spot. He is repping the flush here, but with his stats and history all I really know is that he has two cards. As played should we check raise here......flat....fold......cry mama....shove,fist pump, and dance a little jig?

Thoughts....?

With that postflop aggression level I don't think he has nothing. The problem is, his something might be AT with the single diamond being the Ace. A set or two pair should have raised your flop bet, but players love to slowplay even the point of trapping themselves so I wouldn't write those off entirely either as he might be trying to now protect against you having the Ad.

According to PokerRazor he has a flush 8% and set 4.4% so we're normally ahead a lot, but he also has the nut flush draw 8.8% and top pair 11.7% and an OESD 11.9%. This is all assuming he isn't sharp enough to weight his calling hands towards pairs and throw away dominated hands.

Meh, I think it still comes down to his aggression levels, which makes me inclined to fold. If this was the river or he was a short stack all in I'd call but facing another possible bet I fold here.

Beluga? Not that villian knows what the hell that is. I think it is a great option, not be used often but here it could work. He could easily fold AA scared of the flush (good for us) but at the same time he might call with QQ's thinking bluff(again good for us) and it will really put the fire to him to make the decision, and prevents ackwardness on the river also it elliminates his positional advantage.

I thought at the time that a fold or call were my best options but I had just lost a set over set for a full stack and was seeing monster's under the bed at this point..........I really think a crai is the right play.....

Well in that case pokerstove has it at 69:31

Could well be AT, A9, 99, JJ, QQ, a bluff or a set.

Personally I dont think CRAI is inorder, but a CR to say $4 would be my way of playing it... (do you all think thats wrong??)

Don't forget some flushes as well. Using some different ranges, I found we're usually like 60/40 or 55/45 vs. his calling range.

As for the sizing, the pot is $4, villain has like $7.50 left behind. A pot sized raise would be to like $7 if my math is right, so why not just ship it? Anything less just makes for some really awkward stack sizes if he decides to flat, and we do much better vs. his calling range than his 3-betting range here.

To go back one step do we ever fire a second barrel at the turn....let him make the tough decision....if he raises we pretty much are done with the hand I think or would villan flat with a flush here. I realize that by doing that we are turning our hand into a bluff but what do you guys think?
