I would bet the river, once he checks to you he is basically saying he has lower than a King (weak hand) or at the very most a king with a very weak kicker.
So I would definitely bet the river, around $1.25 to get a call from underpairs such as 8/8. Judging that he looks to be fishy as well.

Edit: if he calls and has a king, just note him as a very passive player and adjust for future hands.

I agree with Yoshimii. When he calls the flop and check the turn he could definitely have like 77-TT and even like A3/A2s.

Agree with the betsizing for the river as well. something like 50-60% that he can call here looks good.

I think he has A,4 and slow played when the 5 fell on the turn. i would have checked the river also, betting on the river,SB would have shoved, it was a set up

I'd be looking to get 2 streets of value here. I don't really care which two, but I'd probably lean towards turn & river.

There were two villains, with little to no history. So we can value town 2 unknowns here( yes they both look fishy but still )
Edit: talking about the flop obv

Yeah sorry about the flush draw bit. There were a couple of hands I posted late last night that had me scratching my head a little, one of them had a flush draw and I made a mistake in the title.

but on Kxx boards people rarely have strong continuing ranges.. (which is why people float flops with A high and PP's so much)

vs a UTG raise for the BB.. (discarding the 78/0 tard)

AK 3bet squeezes sometimes/KQ/KJ folds some of the time.. sets, and then PP's.

we're discounting AA/KK because that squeezes pretty much all the time pre.

PP's probably just fold flop anyway because now the only air hand you have that doesn't beat them (being a 13/9) is AQ.

so BB's folding like all the time to a cbet, and we get cheap showdowns against him IP so he's never really a problem.

the SB though is a joker continuing with all kinds of worse stuff. granted we lose some money when he has Kx, but imo its clearly more +ev betting 3 streets for value against his total range which is super wide.

$0.60, $1.30, $3.10.

edit: discount the BB stuff, assumed he was a reg, seems to be a fish too. delayed cbet and river bet seems kinda sound vs 2 villains but betting flop and 3 streeting the 78/0 is my fav line here.

Check back the flop, bet turn and river for value if checked to again.

This.

Dont really like betting the flop so much. Happily betting turn and river when checked to.

This is WA/WB I think. Check the flop and bet the turn.

I would have bet the turn and the river, but small enough so that he will make the call with a 3 or 2 or a lower PP. However if he had a smaller PP like 88 or 99 I would expect him to bet to find out where he was in the hand, but you never know he could just be a really bad player.

Him checking the river is a great clue he is weak. Either he is mega passive with a king or he can't beat your pocket jacks. I bet about 50% of the pot there
