I've been playing poker for almost 10 years now.
I'm also a professional poker dealer.

I'm a winning player online, as well. But occasionally, incomprehensible garbage like this happens to me.

Dude comes into the table and this is his FIRST HAND. And look what happens.

I mean, you’ve got to be ****ing kidding me.

Oh, and also, it was a snap call. I mean, literally it was as if his “call any” check box was checked off.

You’ve got to be ****ing kidding me with this shit….

I honestly felt like a bot that was programmed to win the hand came onto the table.

I mean, this literally makes NO SENSE.

Again, as I said, I've been playing online for a while and I'm a winning player. But when garbage like this happens, I just HAVE to question it...

And the reason why is because in my around 8 years of being a poker dealer, I have literally, NEVER seen shit like this happen at the table. NO one in their right mind would make a call like this...

KQ play isnt so bad...

well you may wanna consider the motivation for cheating at 10nl... it's wayyyyy more likely that they're just drunk. If this was at higher stakes it would be more suspicious.

Keep an eye out on the player, but I think there's <1% chance this is cheating.

You're probably right. It's just so frustrating to see someone come to the table, their first hand snap call off their whole stack with 8 high, bink the 8 and then is gone from the table.

I definitely won't forget this guy and keep an eye out for "POPPY CHULO".

I've seen many people drunk at the table --- they will try and make a play like shove all in with 8 high but I have literally never seen anyone snap call off with 8 high.

Maybe it's like you said -- "because $10NL"

If by frustrating you mean that you got your money in good when called (which by the way never happens to me here :(), then I understand. Not sure if you are trolling or not.

Just in case you are not, you definitely should read about sklansky dollars (http://www.thepokerbank.com/strategy/mathematics/sklansky-dollars/) and after that watch some YouTube videos about the same topic, maybe some EV (expected value) videos first.

If you wonder why he called here is my guess: a) 'It's a big pot, over 20 dollars, I wan't to win it, and it's so little I need to call more, just a bit over 5 dollars' b) '5 is close to 78, I can make a straight!' c) 'I will never surrender to bully who tries to force me out of the pot, he has nothing'
