Depends how narrow the player is 3-betting from the button. You are getting about 1:12 on the call, so the opponent needs go all-in a large amount of the time. Assuming he is squeezing here with something like JJ+, AK+, calling here isn't that bad. However, some people might 3-bet loose on the button, c-bet and fold after the flop, so it would be pretty bad just to flat call. Basically, it depends on the tightness of the 3-bettor, and the looseness of the callers.

It is suggested that you need to make call20 when set mining, but as you are playing against 2 players, you don't need all that odds, althought it could be questionable the call against a 3bet, but that depends on the villians 3betting range, and his postflop game.
Once hitting top set on the flop, and having straight and flush draw, ending all in is ok, but I would have bet the pot or maybe a little bit more, but going all in directly is an overbet

Unless someone is a hyper aggressive 3-bettor. If you get squeezed like that when opening from UTG - ESPECIALLY AT FULL RING, you are way behind that persons range. Easy fold pre-flop.

Im not a fan of flatting such a big squeeze with eights cause its gonna cost you money alot of the time.

Im also not too sure if i like donk jamming when we hit our top set here. Why not, check raise?

You do realise that we fold out all their bluffs and sometimes even their aces with this play.

Only reason i can accept it as a good play is because of how draw heavy the flop is and you can look like your on a draw yourself or get called by draws.

As noted, preflop is pretty bad but I don't mind donking flop.

I don't know if donk-shoving is optimal but for sure we should donk ainec -- check-raising in this spot is terrible due to relative position.

On a board where a lot of ranges have strong draws or overpairs, we need to trap as much money between us and the preflop 3-bettor. Check-raising will allow big draws and even hands as strong as JJ-QQ easily fold on the flop -- disaster. And if the PFR ever has AK and the flop checks through, it's an epic disaster.

This. And you had players to act after you that may have raised further. 88 isn't a hand you want to get crazy with multi-way in a FR game.

It would help if we knew their stats, I play 10nl and don't have any notes on these two but checking them on official poker rankings they don't look too bad certainly not fish. In that case they won't call an all in on the flop without very decent holdings so you were lucky they did in that respect. Agree with the coach, fold pre here at full ring its losing a 10th of your stack and you are only going to continue if you hit a set. long time leak
