I thought I would post a few standard hands just to see if I can get any criticism on them.

The original raiser pf is quite nitty so I thought I could steal the pot after the flop if I missed. I called flop to draw and planned to fold if second villain raised. The turn I felt I should bet out because the board was dangerous and I don't think checking would induce a bluff on the river anyway.

It seems like you played it well to me. You definitely have a decent stack to be calling for your outs. I probably would of checked the turn, but the $1.80 could of been better and maybe they were just bluffing it out the whole time.

Played well. :)

Why? OP said he was floating flop to take away on the turn. If you check when you actually hit and bet to get the pot when you miss it's gonna become obvious to observant players when your bluffing/ when you hit.

Also i'd want to build the pot incase that ace hit or they had a hand like TK and wanted the c/r so betting is best here IMO

lol

also lol. Nit's don't get fancy and "want the c/r" on the turn. Instead they're going to be afraid of the straight or the flush draw.

I can see why betting the turn here is good and I actually like it but i don't bet that much. I'd probably throw out something like 1.30 or so since MP2 seems really weak.

I think i'd probably check the turn though. Most likely MP2 has a pocket pair, maybe a K. If we bet the turn he's probably going away but if we check we give him a chance to bluff or use his hand as a bluff catcher for us if he checks river and we bet

so if the card was 2s your gonna bet? (real question assume you'll say yes)

The guys a nit this flop hits his range decently apart from higher underpairs like 77-99.
I doubt a nit would call a bigish river bet with an underpair to the board just because you checked the turn (but he would with a king to be fair )

Any merit in betting small (like you said) or is he folding to most bets regardless of size?

maybe a K. If we bet the turn he's probably going away
this makes sense ace is a big scare card if he's got Kx

sorry for the uncoordinated statements still a little drunk

If a blank comes on river and I checkd turn, then yes I'd bet small. Yes I'd bet a blank on turn

You have to bet out the turn. you have the nut str8 but there is still the flush on the board, plus he may have inside str8 draw so you dont want to give away equity.

The bet size should be around at least $1. $1.80 might be a little too much depending on yours and villians play. It is better to take down a little pot than to give a free card where villan catches flush or split hand IMO. It also depends on villans play, if he is the type to bluff maybe you risk river to trap, but most of the time I think you should put a solid value bet out there. Key is to bet enough where flush and inside str8 draw folds or gets incorrect odds to call but K or A stays in (tough bet size, if not imposible).

Nothing wrong with taking down little pot on the turn IMO.

Do villains pay much attention to bet sizing in 10nl? I have tried mixing my bets and it seems to go unnoticed. Unless you min bet or over bet the pot or something like that.
