SB bets $7.35 and is all-in

The BB fold to steal was at 80% so i raised on the button, N/A's for the SB's fold to steal but he looked tight enough, i flat called on the flop b/c he was aggressive and i thought i'd let him hang himself, the ace comes on the turn and i flat call to see what he does on the river, he then pushes, which i should have expected from a villain with an AF of 5 but i still can't call here can i?? An ace is easily in his range and he looks like hes betting for value, he could have a jack but the chances of that are slim and its more likely that he has an ace, easy fold???

If you were going to fold you have to fold the Turn. If he has any Ace he pulled ahead and you only have 1 out. As it is he has played this hand perfectly as he can be value betting or bluffing. he is aggressive enough you can't discount either one. FTR I think you are behind here more than you ahead without a read that he is spazzy. I fold. and then go on monkey tilt when whe he shows QJ.

Cheers steve, lol at monkey tilt, i'm stealing that phrase :)

I did fold in the end after going into a 45 sec tank and neglecting the other 5 tables lol he didnt show so no monkey tilt this time but the next time i tilt it will definetly be of the monkey variety.

I probably fold the turn but I am also raising the flop like 95% of the time. I doubt he is stupid enough to make this bet without an ace and if he is I'm sure you will have plenty of chances to get all of his money anyway.

Raise flop, fold turn.

Out of interest, how would you all play this if the turn and reiver cards were reversed so that the Q appears on the turn and the Ace on the river?

If the small blind leads I shove, otherwise I bet pot and hope to be raised. If he just calls my turn bet then on the river, I puke and call a shove.
