Welcome to the forum. Yes i'd play the hand the same way. Passive guy taking a Baluga line makes this a fold without a read he can c/r draws or TPTKish type hands.

What a gross turn card too. Q9, T9, KJ all get there, assuming he didn't have you out-flopped. I'm down with folding here.

I kinda wonder if we can justify checking back the turn. I'd prolly check with AT, but not sure about a stronger hand.

I'd never check this turn its like the most drawy board you can have.

Bet more pre and seeing as how villain rarely shows aggression but pumps it here and observing the combo of hands he could have here I can definitely find a fold correct here.

There's only one worse card in the deck for us (the 9s). Whatever his range was on the flop just caught up almost as much as possible.

I think one pair with FD type hands would call a turn bet and one bet with straight draw would also call a turn bet.

KTss or JT not including all TP hands like AQ, KQ, QJ. CBA to do a whole range but there are a lot of combos that will call a turn bet that we beat.

Yeah, without actually running the sim, I'd think its a bet. But I'm guessing AA wouldn't be as big a favorite as you'd think.

I also think he nailed a set. Any other hand does not make sense. I do not think he would go all in with a streight. Why would someone do that? To make it look like a bluff?. Probabely not.

Because he's OOP and shoving would be better than calling and donking turn because hero will check back a decent amount of his range on river and there are potential action killers that could fall.

As for hand b/f seems best. I don't like checking turn as we can still get value from quite a few hands in his range that we don't want to give a free card.

Actually you are right. But at this lvl i would had donked a litle over half of the pot maybe 2/3 with a maded hand.
