$10 NL HE Full Ring: Double/Triple Barrel Spot

Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 24/6/0.3

So after some thinking and discussion lately, I've been encouraged to find some barreling spots in my play. I don't want to go crazy, but often times I find myself cbetting and then just shutting down, without really putting my opponent on a range.

Full Tilt, $0.05/$0.10 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 8 Players

CO: $3.86 (38.6 bb)
BTN: $20.35 (203.5 bb)
SB: $9.07 (90.7 bb)

His line looks like something in the 77-1010 range. I only have 18 hands on him. I feel like if the river didn't pair the queen, making it less likely for me to have AQ/KQ, I could bet the river. Given the board and his likely holdings, is this a good spot?

If his range is 77-TT barreling is fine IF you know he can fold 77-TT here.
After 18hands of running 24/6 i just dont think u have that knowledge of villain.
So yeah i just give up on turn against a basicly a unknown here.

I also bet more on the turn,if u have AQ here dont u bet more to protect from the flushdraw?

The river i guess we have to fire again since he has some missed draws and maybe we can get him of 88. I bet like 3.20 but im not happy about it.

When you're barreling the board needs to change. In this case nothing does so im not sure its a good 3 barrel spot.

i think the range you've given is likely but im just not sure he can fold any of those hands.

You actually beat/tie all of his draws so I don't think his range of hands that you're behind but that actually fold here is very big at all. Now if your holding was something like 98dd betting again makes sense. If you bet this river you're only really repping a Q. I check it back and expect to win/split a good portion of pots.

Edit to add: If you are going to bet this river, I'd make it at least $3. You're repping a Q, and only a Q, at least bet it like you have one. Again, I check it back.

dont think this is the right spot to fire a 3rd barrel here as the Qc on the river is a card that looks scary but on reality it didnt complete any str8s or flushed. If he called the flop and turn and then the board pairs again, hes probably calling u down with any ace high or better, so ur best hope is a tie.

I agree with this. Just not enough info to know what he does this with. I'm checking behind the river

I love barreling as much as the next guy, but I think this is a pretty shitty spot to fire a 2nd barrel, much less a third one. This guy isn't folding anything in his range except draws & counterfeited pairs you beat on the river. Not to mention this loose/passive type of player is the exact opposite of what you're looking for in someone to barrel.

Check/fold the turn with no improvement IMO.

Alright, thanks for the responses. Like I said, I've been looking for some good spots to barrel to improve from my nittyness, so if anything interesting comes about, you'll be sure to read.
