Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 21/11/1

These always catch me out, probably what the villain is hoping for...

It seems wrong to bet 4bb and fold to another 3bb. They may have KK and I could spike an ace or they may have JJ or QQ and I could win a big pot when I hit an ace. But when I hit a queen... I try to convinvce myself they might have AK so call another street...

Basically how do I deal with min 3bets when I have decent implied odds but high reverse implied odds at the same time?

Bet the turn because he could have picked up a heart draw and will call with worse

You don't need to bet because you're afraid, you need to bet here because he'll call with worse...

Min 3 bets can be anything depending on the player. Vs a 21/11/1 id say its heavily weighted towards value but can still include hands 88+99 or AJ. This guy is passive though so Id be wary.

Betting the turn is probs good though after his weak c bet and check. Go for value from their high diamond cards and maybe mid PPs like 88-JJ, some of which will have a diamond.

I think he meant that you meant diamond draws ...

I agree with the others seems like a pretty easy bet on the turn for value.

Okay never thought of betting the turn but I see why now. Guess I was still expecting a huge hand.

Does everyone think calling these are fine then generally against these villains? As brank said it could be a lot of hands so should I call then try and work out postflop where I'm at and proceed but assuming there is a possibility they have KK+ or AK as well as those other hands?

The most important things to take into account when deciding to call is effective stack sizes, type of player and being in position. You typically want them to have ~100bbs, be in position and know that villain is bad(will spew).
