Just a cooler. You can never fold an overpair with this SPR.

Cooler. I bet a little less on the flop. Make us look weaker and give him more room to shove over us.

I would 4bet a little bit more as it is slightly deep and cbet a little less to make him think that he has some fold equity with a shove like Deco said.

I'm sure you know yourself this is a standard cooler. You have to accept when someone is willing to get it in with you on the flop, there is a chance of course they have a set but you can't just "fold" in this spot. Just part of the varience, carry on and stack of next time on the same board. People do it with top pair of course. I'd expect to see more of a flush draw hand with top pair or a set. Nothing else is going to stack here unless their bad.

I had a 23BI downswing at 10NL. Mostly coolers like this. QQ/KK/AK were my biggest loosing hands. Don't let it get you down, just rock up a little. There is still money to be made in 10NL from playing ABC poker and then slowly introducing some moves into your play.

mm, I guess.. biggest I've had is a 8 BI downswing when I first moved up to 25nl.

but I'm not posting to compare..

people always think they're better at poker than they actually are so I try to think I'm worse than I know I am to even out, but I know my winrate should be higher and I'm better than a lot of the regs at my limit so I'm starting to wonder if I've got a load of leaks that need plugging.

Try not to post coolers or even necessarily big pots if they're mostly being returned as finely played. Post lots of common scenarios you may not be 100% sure on. Compare filtered stats with others. Look for common themes in mistakes pointed out in these threads and post hands with similar occurances to confirm your findings, make a filter thread just to be sure then adapt.
