I'm a bit confused as to what he can really have here as he is passive in the hand until the 3rd spade hit... A passive guy preflop that doesn't 3-bet much would do it with a low sc or k7s in the sb? Probably not... Slow playing KQ on the turn most likely then.

As played, I just can't see what you realistically beat except bluffs after getting raised, but I don't except many bluffs in his hand, so I fold.

Why check on the flop? I would have bet on the flop to see if he got anything from the flop.

I'd lean towards a fold. Sounds like you won the hand, and I'm guessing he CR 2 pair or something, thinking he was turning into a bluff. In general I think you can fold in those spots for the price, but it's close.

I'll guess he caught a backdoor flush draw on the river, but you have the ace of spade and his 3-bet stats are low but we know don't know how big is the sample size...
