If he's hit a flush we'll rack it up as a cooler, especially as he's only 40BB deep.

Think of it as a semi bluff raise on the turn.

If he has just hit a flush, you have 10 outs to beat him on the river.

agreed...make him pay you off

Wondering, dont you think he does this with a lot of flushdraws (as well as straight draws which we beat of course.)
Probably still getting it in though.

The pot is $2.90, and the SB only has $3 left. There's no way you're ever folding, so shove it in now to get value from any hands still drawing, and any one pair hands that will c/f an even scarier river card. If he happens to have a flush, you have the redraw to fill up.
