SB: $10.01
BB: $34.98
UTG: $1.64
UTG+1: $12.53
MP: $19.11
MP+1: $2.20
MP+2: $4.09
CO: $7.69
BTN Hero: $13.31

Pre-flop: ($0.15) Hero is BTN and dealt Ad Kd
6 folds, Hero raises to $0.30, SB folds, BB calls $0.30

Flop: ($0.60) 2s 6h 7c (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.60, BB raises to $1.00

Hero?

What can he possibly have? i always fall for these kind of plays where i get a decent hand pre-flop get called by a limper then miss the flop and have to continue over betting and end up loosing 70% or even 100% of my stack?

What should i do in these cases + how should i make sure i dont fall for these tricks? im worried that my whole earnings from the session will be lost due to me raising decent hands and being raised by donks.

(last night was crazy i played from 19:00 till 6:30am non stop on pokerstars vs the donk russians which raise/shove with any 2 cards they get, after 11 and a half hours of playing i ended up -$1.32)

To start with that's a pretty shity board to cbet.
Pretty standard check behind.
And your cbet sizing is horrible, 1/2 pot

By the way i wanted to make a thread asking correct cbet, 3bet and 4bet sizing but i cant since i've reached my limit of 2 threads per 24hours.

Therefore, what percentage of the pot for cbet, how much to 3bet/4bet and when to know if i should fold after my 3 and 4bets gets checked or raised?

Also, say i have 3bet or 4bet post flop and i get called, what should i do then if i miss the flop once again? another high bet or just check/fold if opponent bets/raises me ?

thanks ill have a look, i have always played the same way, post flop - bet twice as much put in pre-flop, turn - bet twice as much i put in post flop etc. This was stupid.

No i'm saying i wouldn't cbet that flop.
But if i did i would make it $0.30

This made me really think a lot, since i missed the flop, why would i carry on betting? I tend to bet whenever i have a good hand but right now i think this will have a major impact on my game. Thank you.

These questions are villain depended.
A good standard cbet is 1/2 the pot.
But if your value cbet vs a fish that will call pot or slightly over pot is ok.
3bet amounts vs regs i use 3x there raise+1bb
3bets vs fish who don't like to fold to 3bets i go up to what i think they will call with.Sometimes 6-7-even up to 10 times there raise.
4 betting at these limits should be only for value (90%) of the time and should be a shove.

No we are not cbetting our hand so to speak. We are cbetting our range vs villains range.
on a 729 board this hit's our range like shit.

It's ok to cbet IMO. In game I call that minraise

In my experience that's a bad board to cbet. Now if villain folds to tons of cbets it'll be ok to cbet it.

Depends on villain but i'd suggest, very politely, that you move down to 2NL before you burn any more money and so you can learn some fundamental concepts of the game.

What's so bad about it? You're cbetting to pick up dead money and vbetting against a straight draw. If he raises it's an obvious fold most of the time so I really don't see what's so bad about it

Yeah I prob Cbet that board as well. Bigger problem in the hand is why min raise pre? What do u expect bb to fold there with a min raise? When he raises you on flop it's an easy fold.

Maybe it's because i open up so wide compared to most ppl (even on the BTN).
I would get c/r to often on a board like that.(or it seems)
I still don't like the board for cbetting.
