re: Poker & $10 NLHE Full Ring: AKs
There is $10.20 in the pot on the flop.
Villain only started with $8.57 so this is the effective stack. ie. the most money we can play for.
So if we each have $5 in the pot he must be left with about $3.50
Therefore we can only bet $3.50 into the $10 pot.
Since this is all we can bet and we have the nut flush draw we are getting great odds
even if villain calls and flips over 6x. We are only in trouble if villain has a full house or quads which represent a tiny part of his range.
