HUD subscription ended (no stats) :S

SB: $3.08
BB: $12.44
UTG: $6.31
MP: $8.58
MP+1 Hero: $21.85
CO: $18.29
BTN: $9.68

Pre-flop: ($0.15) Hero is MP+1 and dealt :jc4: :ah4:
UTG folds, MP raises to $0.30, Hero calls $0.30, CO calls $0.30, BTN calls $0.30, BB folds

Flop: ($1.35) :kd4: :qd4: :10c4:
MP bets $0.68, Hero raises to $21.55 (All-in), 2 folds, MP calls $7.60 (All-in)

I've been having a lot of frustrating results with hands like this one.
Is the way I played the hand optimal or should I be doing something different?

What could be frustrating about getting all in for 85bb with the nuts???

Anyway you have no stats so, reads? Why are you flatting preflop? Why are you shoving the flop? Why would you complain about getting it in with great equity against everything but AJdd???

Damn, I guess I really am being too results oriented. tbh, I have no idea why I'm flatting pre.

I shoved the flop because I figured anyone with a set or huge draw would likely pay off.

I'm not trying to complain

Unless he's an idiot flatting AJ, even 7 handed, is unlikely to be very profitable.

without stats it is hard to say what i would do with AJo in this situation preflop,
obviosly against a nit who hasnt played a hand this year i will fold , against a random fish i re raise , with out stats do you think flatting pre is so bad ? , to be honest, in position i have just flatted here many times , but am thinking now that it might be bad because even if we hit an A on the flop we dont really know where we are in the hand, also we probably set our selves to a possible sqeeze.
am i thinking in the right direction ? what are you doing with it pre ?

Depends. Most of the time we should probably just be folding it with the CO and BTN left to act and an opener who is going to have us beat almost any time we play a big pot postflop.

I would normally just make a standard 3x or 4x raise here otf but versus a ss, likely bad player, a shove isnt that bad of an option either, especially on this board. If he has any piece he is probably calling.

incomplete information

Like when mp calls your all in , what the results/ turn and river cards were. Also what his hole cards were. You put your $ in ahead here obviously but I think also you could have gotton the third player to call here if you don`t push. Maybe at the turn you could have shoved and gotten similar results from mp, but you missed getting the extra bet from the third player .Maybe i`m just a nit but thats how I play it. Flatten / minraise and then bet enought 2x/3x total potsize enough to put him all in.

The information isn't incomplete. I didn't need advice on how to deal with the outcome after my money went in. This wasn't a beat or any sort of loss.. I posted to get advice on what others might have done in a similar situation.

I understand your point about losing value by potentially pushing a third player out of the hand, but my initial point is that I've been having too many suck-outs happen to me when I allow others to continue cheap and don't play completely aggressive w/ the nuts @ 10NL (on boards like the one above). I think WV is correct, folding pre is most likely the best option with this hand anyway.

But since my question is already answered, here's the results. Turns out the opener was an idiot.

Turn: ($31.18) :kd4: :qd4: :10c4: :qh4:

River: ($31.18) :kd4: :qd4: :10c4: :qh4: :8s4:

Final Pot: $31.18

Showdown:
MP shows :8d4: :ad4:
Hero shows :jc4: :ah4:

I'd raise 3x. Give some fuller stacks the oppurtunity to overcall and make villains call more likely yet give him space to 3bet.

I fold pre but don't hate the flat seeing as it's 10NL and villain isn't full stacked he's very likely to be a moron.

It's 10nl actually but villain is probably still a moron.

I'm on the fence about flatting pre. Feels so dirty to fold AJ to a single raise from this guy. What about 3betting here?

That being said I kinda like the flop shove. Hits villains range pretty well plus he's dumb
