Merge - $0.10 NL - Holdem - 9 players

UTG+1: $9.83
Hero (MP): $17.46
MP+1: $8.64
LP: $17.84
CO: $9.67
BTN: $9.21
SB: $16.81
BB: $17.29
UTG: $24.56
SB posts SB $0.05, BB posts BB $0.10

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero has A A

UTG raises to $0.35, fold, Hero raises to $1.25, MP+1 calls $1.25, fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, UTG calls $0.90

Flop: ($3.90, 3 players) 9 T 8

UTG bets $2.60, Hero ???

UTG is 51/10 2.7AF over 50 hands. He had donked one flop earlier. Flop was Axx all spades. He had KsJx, donked and called a shove heads up.

MP is 29/14 over 20 hands.

Just wanted to hear some thoughts on what to do in this spot since similar situations seem to come up somewhat frequently.

We are pretty deep so I would rather flat than gii. Never folding flop for just the donk bet though.

You can 3-bet bigger when you're over 100 bb's deep, but this is fine. I probably call and see what the turn brings/entice MP to come along.

That was pretty much the way I was leaning in the moment. Call UTG and hopefully see a safe turn, then go from there.

BB was running 90/30 over 50 hands with a 3b of like 25%. I wanted to leave some room for him to 4b so I made my bet slightly smaller than normal. I would probably usually make it ~$1.50 with 170bb effective stacks. I'm not sure if my thinking is flawed in this aspect or not, and would love to hear some input.

I'm sorry, but I really don't follow... Check/raise where? UTG was first to act on the flop and lead out. That is as far as the hand history goes.

I mean we're not folding the flop, we just have to call here and re-evaluate on the turn.

Flop: ($3.90, 3 players) 9 T 8
UTG bets $2.60, Hero calls $2.60, MP+1 raises to $7.39 and is all-in, UTG calls $4.79, fold
Turn: ($21.28, 2 players) 8
River: ($21.28, 2 players) Q
MP+1 shows J J (Straight, Queen High) (Pre 82%, Flop 33%, Turn 5%)
UTG shows 9 9 (Full House, Nines full of Eights) (Pre 18%, Flop 67%, Turn 95%)
UTG wins $20.10

Pretty easy decision here imo. I wasn't sure if maybe I can raise for the times when UTG has the draw and MP goes away. Thanks for the replies.
