Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 17/3/0.8

With me only been sittin at the table for 30 hands and being very active (thanks to having AA, KK + QQ) i've made myself a decent stack and my table image has been aggressive.
I'm lucky enough to pick up AA again and decide to do my normal 3.5xBB PFR. W/ the BB flattin here I don't realy know much about his range apart from his call open on BB is 40% over 70hands.

party poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (9 handed) - Party-Poker Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (this is on Full Tilt btw, dunno why it's comming up Party Poker.... ¬.¬)

MP2 ($20.58)
Hero (MP3) ($26.86)
CO ($3.35)
Button ($7.20)
SB ($11.64)
BB ($16.19)
UTG ($6.90)
UTG+1 ($19.09)
MP1 ($10.23)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with A

4 folds, Hero bets $0.35, 3 folds, BB calls $0.25

Flop: ($0.75) K

BB bets $0.75, Hero raises $2.85, BB raises $8.55, Hero?

Total pot: $6.45

This isn't the best type of texture board and thought i'd raise him. But when he 4b am I realy ahead here with two cards left to come?

I would probably push back all in against this hand, most likely you are looking at k/10 k/q. I wouldn't think he was holding a set of 8's or k's because there was no reraise pre-flop and the bb is probably thinking your trying to buy the pot. Even if he has k/j you still got a chance to pair the board.

He's quite passive according to your small sample, you're 160bb deep and he's just 3bet you saying he wants to play for stacks. You beat AK and nothing else and honestly I doubt this is AK very often. KJ is likely bottom of his range here. I fold.

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking the same thing when lookin at the stats that he isn't a maniac or v.loose. But when he re-pops it to $9 i've found my answer that he's:
pot commited
Either on a big draw or strong made hand
It is so easy to think that at NL10 that my AA could be decent 50%+ in this situation with thinking that I have been active at the table, I've just had AA+QQ (went showdown) and he thinks its unlikley I have AA again so his AK/KQ (if I jam and he calls this is the only two hand I want to see to be sure to scoop the pot) could win.
But at the end of the day I had a gut feeling that this guy had set (most likley JJ) or a huge draw (QdTd) and I don't want to see them card if I jam. So I decided to fold. Find a better spot. I usally go bit silly w/ aces but this time I decided to slow down, do a bit of thinking and i'm quite pleased with this outcome...meh.
