Villain 33/0 over 9 hands. When he limp calls and minbets flop i feel he can have Kx, Qx, 8x, pairs, straight draws, flush draws etc. and all will call a raise. However i didn't wanna raise too much since i sometimes see fish reraise over the top with just Kx or a random pair and that would put me in an awkward spot if the pot was bloated. So i raised a medium size and he quickly called. Turn scared me cos obviously Kx got there but still i felt his range was wide enough for me to v bet again. river i only lose to Kx but he can definitely have that since he bet big. but i beat all the missed draws and "lolz i have full house" with weaker pairs Qx etc. so should i call it off?

Qx is the most often here,or just a bluff like a flush draw Ax diamonds,so call without hesitation

To be considered: should the river be raised? Why/why not?

Really the decision is more between shove or call. Folding isn't even remotely an option. Against a fish, I'd just about always be shoving here.

Hmmm first thing I thought was just a flat call, I looked more into the hand.

Theres a lot of draws that failed straight/flush and you bet half the pot when the king came out. A lot of us all know already either got a king or like that 2nd king. But often bad players will see it as a sign of weakness.

so a bluff on the river is pretty likely... a shove here is probably best, if he has the king or a fullhouse so be it... I think we should be best here a lot of times.

i feel this one i'm for sure being results oriented. of course, he had K4o. i feel also i tend to give way too much credit to big river bets. my WSD after river call shows up as way too high on leakbuster so i'm trying to fix this and posting hands like this is a start. there have been times in the past where i've folded a full house on the river because i've convinced myself the guy has quads just cos he bets big or overbets. i'm not quite as bad as that now, but i still actually didn't just snap call on the river.

i feel in general raising is best here, although villain did tank for a short while before he made the move on the river, which leads me to believe he was more likely to be strong, but clearly i still have to at least call.

another reason i posted this hand is i was wondering if there was anything i could have done differently earlier in the hand, such as raising more on the flop and perhaps checking back the turn to limit losses when he has a K.

Looking at the way villain played the hand i would just flat call here. As stats on the villain would have been helpful in determining whether to raise.

Too strong from villain. He has a king in his range the way he played it by donk betting on the flop and calling when he got raised. Then calling again on the turn and leading out so strong on the river. Very good chance that he has that one outer so i will not raise but i agree with others that folding is tough here.

I agree that folding in this spot is really hard to do. This is just one of those spots where you got donked, and your gonna have to pay him. I would almost never fold in this spot. After the third king hits, any Qx hand would likely feel very confident and lead out. Also, since any Kx hand would be BEGGING for a call, the large river bet seems odd. I don't think there is much value in raising the river here since you would only get a call from a K and MAYBE a Q. Now to your other point about maybe checking behind on the turn. IMO, you made the correct decision with continuing your betting line. With so many draws on the board, there are quite a few river cards that you don't want to see. You need to make the villain pay to get there. I don't think you made any mistakes in the hand. (but I'm not a pro)
