You might say I played this hand the worst way I possibly could but let me explain my thinking here. THIS IS RUSH POKER btw.
When I face the re-raise pre-flop I think it's a pretty simple decision for me to flat call here because some players like to re-raise every time they are in the blinds against a button raiser, especially in rush, therefore its a 50-50 on whether or not he even has a good hand or not.
The flop comes pretty ugly with a Q J J and two hearts, he puts out a bet that looks a lot like a continuation bet after the attempted re-steal OR a small bet looking like a steal with a jack. I decide to call, although many people disagree with this play, because if he is just c-betting I want to keep him in and if he does have a jack I want to play it cautiously.
The turn comes and the 8 of clubs brings two flush draws and not a pretty board at all. He comes out with a very weak bet and it looks a lot to me like either he has 10 9 and I let him get there, or QJ and he's looking for a raise, or my AA is simply best. I decide to throw out a tester min-raise and he just calls. At this point I have no clue what he has anymore and I find that I didn't play this hand well. The 9 comes on the river, he checks and I obviously check behind.
Thoughts on this hand? What should I have done on every street? Does ANYONE think I played this well?!
