Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 23/19/1.5

Recently played this, taking a shot at 10NL, not losing too badly as I would expect.

This hand..... I always have difficulty playing on these kind of sickening boards with AA, any advice on this? Should have check/folded turn? I suppose villain is unlikely to call with without anything less than Ah or Kh?

cbet the flop every time, don't give him a free card and allow him to draw for a flush.

As played I'm shutting down by the turn, and I really hope you folded that river.

My intention was to play it like i'm on a 4 to a flush draw and rep a A high flush.

Ofc I folded the river.

I see, still, tonnes better to cbet the flop for value than check call and end up having to turn your hand into a bluff.

if you had the bare A of hearts here do you honestly think youd play it like this? check/call flop as the aggressor- maybe but i expect youd bet it most times? less than half pot donk the turn with the nuts- no way youd obv bet more? check river- not a hope in hell.

Cbet the flop. no idea why youre turning your hand into a bluff when its pretty much always the best hand. if you wanna check, it HAS to be a check/raise

Point taken, but i figured if the villain calling the turn likely means he has the Ace or at worse the King, which most people would not fold, and so I shut down after the turn.

Yeah, I normally check raise if I had the A hearts...

clarmeister is more for river play correct?
I wouldn't lead turn. After calling the flop he has to have Ah,Kh in his range.Set would deff raise this flop and giving him calling preflop yep deff Ah,Kh is in his flop calling range.
