given that he only bet 10cents on the flop and than pots it on the turn...almost looks like he has a huge hand like set or AJ....however i guess its possible he has AK or AQ but i think if he had either of those he would have made it bigger preflop??

i fold imo just cause usually ppl raising all in on the river have the nuts.

yea dude....i said IMO....u have like next to nothing in the pot...

just cuz hes a 49/whatever doesn mean he cant have a big hand (although not likely)

No one ever over bet pot bluffs the river any more exept me an one other donkey i played 4 months ago.
Edit i could go into ranges an all that this screams of a set.

I prob fold to any other raiser preflop but his Pfr is 24% thats huge right huge ??

C9 does any one over raise pot any more that does not have our two pair if so i do not play them.

Knowing ranges are nice an almost always lead us to the right choice.All that aside this is a set i'm almost 99% sure of it.

And he steals 44%

A8 still flops like trash.

stealing 44% is actually low...i think i steal like 65%

He can certainly think he's value shoving but have worse.

He's certainly got A2, A6, J8, 68 in his range. He could also think AK/AQ is the nuts. Yes, he could also have a couple sets and AJ in there as well.

Against a strict value shoving (no bluffs and no 1 pair hands) range of
22/66/JJ/AJ/A2/A6/J8/68 we have 61% equity.

okay, i'll be the first one to admit my thinking is screwed by rush, but a min-raise from the button almost always tells me "raise me, raise me with any 2, i am trying to steal with nothing and will be folding". so 3-bet preflop and save yourself some troubles.

generally with people like that, i try to get more money in sooner. you are playing as passively as you can by the river, which simply lets him hit something, maybe. i think it was in this video that QTip said how you need to be willing to put money in with marginal hands or else you'd find yourself in tough situations a lot more... well, there you are.

as played, i support c9 in that i can't find the strength to fold this hand. and if we are losing... oh well, next time. we have position on him anyway, it should not be hard to make up some of that loss quickly.
