Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 22/15/1.5

12 hands on villain, nothing to report. Fold to steal 2/2.

At the time thin value bet felt very logical. Second look says - No idea.

Q: Value bet on river stupid or ingenious?

Hmm, I think that that was a block bet, not value bet. That would make more sense.

Bet bigger on the river. There is plenty of value here. You're going to get looked up with worse (maybe even just Ace high). What was your plan for the river if raised?

I was going to snap fold. Raising as a pure bluff is quite rare, but it was Friday so I had seen some pure bluffs already (well one, but anyways). This is 3way and still he raises. Hands I still beat are something like 77, 88, TT, A7s. I'm quite sure he just calls these most of the time.

For some reason this hand is quite messy. I know that by folding to raise OTF this hand would have simplified a lot, his passive line on turn is something what mostly is used for trapping, or when giving up.
